A short but intense walk along the path from Alagna Valsesia to Val d'Otro

The path from Alagna Valsesia to the Otro valley is all uphill: about 450 meters in altitude that leads to the Walser Cabinet, where our excursion ends. But do not worry, the length of the track is really short, only 2 km, a path suitable for everyone.

After leaving the village of Alagna immediately we have to face a series of very steep rock steps, which, although tiring, allow us to climb easily. The rock gradually gives way to a path of land completely immersed in the woods.The path remains steep, so we recommend, for those who use it, to bring a pair of trekking sticks to help themselves up the hill. The stone fountain represents about half of the path. Keep the right! After about 1h and 15min of climb into the woods you can see the sky and once out on the pratoni the magnificent church of the Madonna delle Nevi. You are almost there! Turn right and you will see the Feglierec hamlet which houses the Walser Cabinet.

There are several places where you can stop and rest, and why not, take a sip of fresh water at the fountains and fountains along the way.
