Welcome to the enchanting Val d'Otro
Immersed in the wonderful Val d'Otro, at the foot of Monte Rosa, you can stay in the ancient Walser log cabin and experience places, nature and people that Val d'Otro offers. We host you in apartments of different sizes, restored and furnished in typical Walser style by local artisans reusing wood and ancient techniques.
Located in Feglierec hamlet, the house enjoys a sunny position, surrounded by meadows with a view towards the church of the Madonna delle Nevi. Val d'Otro is a unique place to spend a special holiday in a fascinating and peacful place, immersed in the silence of the mountains and accompanied by the rhythms and mountain people.
Solaro Hus log cabin can only be reached by climbing a mountain path for an hour and fifteen minutes, which adds a unique flavor to the effort required to reach a special place.
Place of relaxation is also a point of support for trekking and routes of varying difficulty, from walks for the whole family to more challenging routes, including mountaineering. It is a place of discovery of ancient Walser traditions and of mountain life, among pastures, vegetable gardens and woods.
It can be reached by walking 1h15min from Alagna Valsesia (Vercelli), where it is necessary to leave the car. The trail, a mountain mule track is traced by the special sign (n.3). The Walser log cabin is located in the Feglierec hamlet of Val d'Otro.
